The Character of Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather

We construct the Nomad using exceptional Italian vegetable-tanned leather. This age-old, artisanal tanning process relies on natural tannins derived from organic materials, resulting in leather as authentic as your writing.

  • The Pros: Vegetable-tanned leather is remarkably robust, far more environmentally friendly than mass-produced chrome-tanned leathers, and carries a beautiful, earthy scent.
  • The Cons: It asks for a bit of mindfulness. The leather can feel slightly stiff out of the box and is vulnerable to watermarks and scratches.
