Topo Designs was founded with the fundamental belief that everyone experiences the outdoors differently. We want to get everyone outside without feeling encumbered by the traditional notions that hold them back." – Jedd Rose, Co-founder/President.

Jedd Rose and Mark Hansen had always hoped that a company would create outdoor gear reminiscent of the sturdy, practical, and timeless products they had grown accustomed to using. Taking matters into his own hands, in 2008, Jedd purchased a sewing machine and started crafting backpacks in his basement in Fort Collins. At the same time, Mark sought suppliers and local artisans in Colorado who could help turn their vision into reality. Out of this blend of innovation and collaboration, Topo Designs was established.

Today, the range includes backpacks, shoulder bags, sling bags, and packing cubes designed for adventure and travel.

Topo Designs focuses on creating long-lasting, adaptable, and environmentally friendly products. They use materials such as organic cotton and recycled nylon to ensure our products are practical and ethically produced—their aim to minimize our environmental footprint by continuously improving our processes and practices.
